Requirements: 10+ Rupees per attempt, Young Link only, Night time (18:00-21:00)

Pay Dampé 10 Rupees for his Heart-Pounding Gravedigging Tour. The heart piece location is completely random. Ensure Dampé is standing directly on the edge of a dirt pile before paying. Budget 100-200 Rupees as this can take many attempts.

Enter the tall storage building at the back of the ranch. Push and pull the wooden crates away from the back corner to reveal a small crawl space. Crawl through to find a hidden room with a Piece of Heart in what appears to be a bird's nest.

Requirements: Fairy Ocarina, Young Link

Take the first right from Lost Woods entrance, drop down to the lower section. Stand on the tree stump and complete the Simon Says musical memory game with two Skull Kids. Three rounds of increasing complexity (3, 4, then 5 notes).

Take the first left from Lost Woods entrance. Find the single Skull Kid with a flute on a tree stump. Position yourself on the opposite stump and play Saria's Song for the lonely Skull Kid to earn his friendship and a Piece of Heart.

Wait until nightfall and find the white dog wandering near the empty stall. Touch it to make it follow you, then navigate to the back alley and find the only open door at night. Return "Little Richard" to Mamamu Yan for a Piece of Heart.

Requirements: Young Link, Goron's Bracelet, access to Darunia's chamber

Light a Deku Stick from Darunia's eternal flame, quickly light all torches around the lower level. When the Goron-faced urn spins, throw a bomb into the opening when the smiling face points toward you. Timing-based challenge worth a Piece of Heart and 25 Rupees.

Death Mountain Trail - Above Dodongo's Cavern

Requirements: Young Link (backflip method) or Adult Link (Magic Bean method)

Two methods: As Young Link, position between Bomb Flower spawn and fence, lock onto the Goron, then backflip (Z + back + A). As Adult Link, plant Magic Bean as child (60 Rupees) and ride platform. Backflip method requires precise positioning.

Requirements: Owl ride from Death Mountain (Young Link) or Hookshot (Adult Link)

After getting Bomb Bag, accept owl's ride from Death Mountain to land on Impa's house roof. Walk to the right side, drop onto the ledge above the Cucco pen, and enter the hole in the wall. You'll find yourself in a cage with a cow and Piece of Heart.

As Young Link, run straight to the climbable wall and rapidly climb down to the alcove before the heat timer expires. More heart containers = more time. As Adult Link with Goron Tunic, explore at leisure. Magic Bean method also works.

Requirements: Young Link, completion of Dodongo's Cavern, 30 Rupees per game

Prize rotation: Bombchus → Heart Piece → Bombs → Bomb Bag → Purple Rupee → repeat. Hit all three targets with Bombchus in one game. If you win but don't get the heart piece, wait for prize cycle to rotate back to it.

At southwestern Hyrule Field near Lake Hylia entrance, find the small square area enclosed by four fence posts. Bomb the center to reveal a grotto. Deflect the Business Scrub's nut back at him with your shield, then buy the heart piece for 10 Rupees.

Multiple methods: Carry Cucco from river entrance to pillar area, jump toward pillar and throw Cucco at last moment to grab ledge. Boomerang can retrieve from distance. Adult Link can use Hover Boots. Protect Cucco from water during transport.

Warp to Death Mountain Crater using Bolero of Fire as Young Link and plant Magic Bean in soft soil next to Triforce pedestal (costs 90 Rupees). Return as Adult Link and ride bean platform on aerial tour, eventually reaching top of smoking volcanic pillar in crater center. Jump off when platform passes over pillar.
